Their are only 7 points between league leaders Barrow and second placed Fleetwood as both sides pick up huge wins making it a two way battle for the league.
Barrow v St Annes
It was the battle of the potential champions and the current champions at Ernest Pass as League leaders Barrow overcame league holders St Annes by 6 wickets.
The game was a low scoring encounter as St Annes had no answer to the Barrow bowling attack as they were all out for 60 in just 33.2 overs.
Barrow Professional Vaughn Van Jaarsveld taking 5-17 and Daryl Wearing continuing his wicket taking exploits with figures of 4-34.
The hosts had a mid innings stutter in their reply but regained their composure knocking the runs off in 17.3 overs reaching 61-4. St Annes's Peter Cummings the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3-21

Netherfield v Fleetwood
Fleetwood remain second after a massive 10 wicket win at Netherfield, this was one of the games of the day, however in a rain reduced games Netherfield had no answer to the Fleetwood bowling attack, inparticular professional Shaun Liebisch as he returned a first innings of 5-16.

Netherfield didn't help themselves with poor batting in the innings, after being put in by the visitors.
The hosts all out for 92, however at one stage they were struggling on 48-9, with a last wicket partnership of 44 between Robbie Lambert and Stuart Nixon getting them to that total. Robbie Lambert impressing with an unbeaten 35 off 76 balls.
Fleetwood cruised home in their reply with both Mike Clinning (46 off 52) and Adam Parker (46 off 59), guiding the visitors home in 18.3 overs reaching 94-0
The defeat a costly one for Netherfield as they fall to 4th in the league and pretty much out of contention for the league title
Leyland v Kendal
Kendal move up to 3rd after an emphatic 122 run victory at Leyland, Jack White in tremendous form taking 7-44 as the hosts are all out for 102 in 29.3 overs.
Earlier Kendal set Leyland an imposing total of 224-8, Terry Hunte with a top scoring 97 off 134 and Jamie How with 71 off 102 balls.

Kendal followed up Saturdays win at Leyland with a winning draw against The Lancashire Colts at Shap Road in this Sunday afternoon encounter.

It was a winning draw for Morecambe in their home league clash with Chorley. Another rain affected game with the match reduced to 40 overs.

Lancasters upturn in form continues after defeating Blackpool by 5 wickets at Lune Road.

Kendal v Leyland
Defending champions Leyland move back to the top of Division 2 after a dominant 110 run victory at Kendal.
With the game reduced to 41 overs due to the rain, Leyland declared on 170-5, Chris Parkinson setting the ball rolling with 35 off 72,setting the platform for Nathan McDonnell to add 38, before a top scoring 60 off 33 by Liam Hurt put the visitors in a comfortable position.
Kendal's main success came through Andrew Dugdale who returned with figures of 3-32
In the reply, Kendal were all out for 60 in 38.5 overs, Liam Hurt with 3-14,with Steven Pallett (2-5), Stephen Cartwright (2-17) and Alex Williams (1-7) all contributing
St Annes vs Barrow
Barrow slip to 2nd after a getting a losing draw at St Annes, The hosts setting a target of 189-7, Mark Emsley 55 off 60 balls, and David Bartholomew with 56 off 58

Netherfield lost ground on the top 2 after a 58 run defeat at Fleetwood, the hosts declaring on 180-5, Tom Wilson with an unbeaten 65 off 66.
