DIVISION 1 ROUND UP:

Fleetwood go top of The Northern Cricket League, whilst Barrow slip up by the sea side, as both Netherfield and Kendal close in on the top two, following a dramatic afternoon of action in The Northern Cricket League.

Carnforth v Fleetwood:

Adam Parker's 55 off 89 balls helped Fleetwood to the top of the division after defeating a resilient Carnforth side by 8 wickets at Lodge Quarry.

The visitors were chasing down Carnforths first innings total of 152-3, as both Parker and Mike Clinning (41 off 69 balls), put on a crucial first wicket partnership of 86.

Carnforth's Bradley Hoyle returned the best bowling figures as he ended with 3-22.

Earlier Ryan Nelson top scored for the hosts with 78 in 133 balls, whilst Carnfroth Professional Toby Bulcock was unbeaten on 51 off 92 balls. In fact both Nelson and Bulcock put on a second wicket partnership of 93 to frustrate the visiting team.

However Fleetwood's good bowling and fielding was crucial as they restricted the hosts to 152-3, The wickets were shared around with Shaun Liebisch, Joe Bell and Naveed Yousef taking 1 wicket each

Blackpool v Barrow:

Barrow dropped to second place after losing their 2nd straight game, losing by seven wickets at Blackpool.
