Division 1 Action
It was a very miserable afternoon in The Northern Cricket League as all matches in Division 1 and Division 2 were rained off.
Heavy and persistant downpours of rain swept through The North of England to prevent any game from taking place
The Division 1 clash between Carnforth and Lancaster did get started however they could only manage 9.3 overs, before the rain yet again brought a halt to proceedings. Carnforth were 32-2, Liam Moffat taking the wickets of Ryan Nelson and Robert Parker, with Nelson being caught by Jamie Heywood.
Meanwhile the Division 2 clash between Fleetwood and Preston lasted 19 over's, before the rain came in yet again.
Many teams travelled down to the various matches in the hope of some play, with clubs waiting and hoping for the rain to ease.
With all games rained off, every team gains 4 points in the hope that the forecast changes in the coming weeks and months
