Lancaster gain revenge
Lancaster avenged last Friday's defeat at Lodge Quarry by defeating Carnforth by six wickets at Lune Road.
Lancaster captain Michael Stevens produced a superb all round performance, taking 4/10 and making two catches as Carnforth laboured to 84/9. Captain/pro Gareth Pedder top-scored with 21 as teenager Daniel Chambers took 3/16.
Stevens then anchored Lancaster's reply with an unbeaten 37 off 53 balls and saw his side home with 16 balls to spare in partnership with Ben Simm (17 not out).
