Blackpool v St Annes

Blackpool cruise to victory

In the third game of the evening Blackpool kept alive their hopes of qualification with a nine wickets win over St Annes at Stanley Park.
St Annes mustered 113 for 8 in their 20 overs with professional Dinuka Hettiarachchi top-scoring with 26.
Andy Furniss and Andy Hogarth each took two wickets for Blackpool.
Strangely St Annes star batsman Atiq Uz-Zaman did not bat though he did later bowl.

Blackpool cantered to their target in 14.3 overs for the loss of opener John Mounsey.
Craig Outram it an unbeaten 49 off 37 balls including three sixes.
Professional Saj Wererakoon was 54 not out at the close including four fours and three sixes off 52 balls, the pair adding 112.
St Annes finished their T20 campaign with three defeats from as many games.
