Darwen and Netherfield complete Finals Day line-up
Darwen and Netherfield completed the T20 Finals Day line-up with convincing victories over Chorley and Barrow respectively.
Teenager Alex Atkinson continued his fine Twenty20 form, hitting 58 in Netherfield's 90 runs win at Ernest Pass over holders Barrow.
Netherfield will now host the Finals Day on Sunday 26 July. They will play Morecambe in the first semi-final at 11am, with Darwen playing Preston in the second semi-final at 2pm. The final is scheduled for 5pm.
Netherfield completed a clean sweep of their group by knocking-out the holders Barrow.
Atkinson's 58 and John Huck's 27 formed the backbone of their 134 for 6 as Barrow pro Pasan Wanasinghe and Liam Livingstone each took two wickets.
Barrow needed to reach their victory target in 13 overs to go through on run rate but lost quick wickets in their gallant pursuit of runs.
Scott Clement bowled superbly to take four for 13 as Barrow slumped to 15 for 4 and the hosts perished for 44 all out in 10.2 overs.
Jon Miles was the only home batsman to reach double figures, making 20.
Netherfield won all four group games, Barrow two from four and Kendal lost all four.
