Chorley CC was formed in October 1909 when Chorley Amateurs became
Chorley Town CC and moved to Windsor Park, playing their first match in
the Chorley & District League on 21 May 1910. In 1916 the Club
amalgamated with Chorley West End CC.
Chorley joined the Ribblesdale League in 1919, being runners-up in 1942 and 1950 and became founder members of the Northern League in 1952. The club celebrated its centenary in 2010 with several events including a dinner dance and a
cricket match against a select team of former Chorley players.
