Chairman's Report 2015
Once again I have to open my annual report on a sad note.
Frank Hardman of St Annes Cricket Club passed away in 2015
Frank was a true stalwart supporter of the league for many years and served as League treasurer for many years. He was also a loyal member of St Annes CC and will be sadly missed by all who knew him and worked with him. My sincere condolences go to his family
Returning to the report on the 2015 season the Division One title was won by Morecambe CC with the runners up being Fleetwood CC
The Division Two title was won by Leyland CC with the runners up being Netherfield CC.
My congratulations go to all four clubs on their splendid efforts over the season.
The Division One Readers Cup was won by Darwen CC and the Division Two Readers Cup by Blackpool CC and my congratulations also go to these two clubs
The TWP Wealth Ltd Twenty/20 Cometition was won by Netherfield CC on an exciting day at Lancaster CC and my congratulations go to them.
Added to this I would like to offer my grateful thanks to the Lancaster chairman and his staff on the excellent way they staged the competition and looked after us on both days.
I would like to offer my sincere thanks on behalf of myself and all our member clubs to our Umpires for their dedicated, sterling work which they do week in week out officiating matches
Also my sincere thanks to go to all the volunteers who work tremendously hard behind the scenes at our Clubs such as Catering, Bar staff, Groundsmen etc. and many more who give up their time on match days helping to keep our clubs ticking over.
