Barrow beat Kendal
Barrow, meanwhile, secured a convincing 7-wicket win over Kendal at the Ernest Pass Memorial Ground.
Kendal struggled to reach 115 for 8 in their 20 overs after winning the toss against some tight bowling and fielding. Barrow skipper Daryl Wearing struck a decisive blow with the wicket of Kendal pro Ross McMillan, caught by Liam Livingstone. Graham Dawson and Livingstone each collected two wickets with Donovan Du Plessis top-scoring with an unbeaten 28.
Ian Allington led the Barrow reply with 40 and valuable contributions from pro Pasan Wanasinghe (36) and Darren Clark (28 not out) saw the home side through in the 18th over.
